Our Programs
Team Jouktai
Kiteboarding Sports Team: We aim to promote the participation of young people from the region coming from vulnerable environments in acquiring skills in water sports. Our goal is to certify them as instructors and riders, thus providing them with the opportunity to start a sports career and represent Colombia in national and international competitions.
IKO Certification
The International Kiteboarding Organization (IKO), has developed a comprehensive program to teach instructors how to safely develop this sport. Sponsoring an IKO course for a Jouktai Team instructor helps them to learn, progress, and teach kiteboarding, gaining international recognition for their skills and services while also opening up economic opportunities.
Kiteboarding Tournaments
We actively seek and support opportunities for beneficiaries of the Jouktai Team to participate in national and international kiteboarding competitions. Additionally, we seek support to assist these participants in taking part in tournaments where they would otherwise be excluded due to financial limitations.
Colombia Limpia
We collaborate with the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Tourism (MinCIT) within the framework of the Responsible Tourism strategy. Through the “Clean Colombia” program, whose main objective is to raise awareness among communities in tourist destinations about responsibility and commitment to the sustainable management of solid waste. This helps protect the country’s natural and cultural resources while promoting responsible practices related to consumption, proper disposal of solid waste, and the circular economy.

Plastic pollution represents a huge problem for our oceans, but even the smallest actions can make a big difference. Every bottle, every straw, every piece of garbage you pick up can contribute to a cleaner and healthier ocean. Join us in cleaning up our community in La Guajira to protect and continue enjoying the nature that this beautiful place offers.
Ecological Bins
We install ecological points in key locations where visitors pass by frequently. We add informative signs about the effects of pollution on the environment and the duration of garbage in the oceans. With these, we aim to inform and raise awareness among tourists and residents to improve their behavior regarding waste disposal.
Playground in Mayapo
Due to the deterioration of the previous play area, we want to gift a new playground to the children of the town of Mayapo to contribute to the fun and cognitive, physical, and social development of the girls and boys of Mayapo.
Educational Center Mayapo
The Educational Center aims to be the space of creativity and recreation for the children of the locality of Mayapo and the Riders for a Dream program of the Jouktai Foundation. Here, we will provide children with everything necessary for their educational, sports, and cognitive development.
