The International Kiteboarding Organization (IKO) has created a comprehensive program to teach instructors how to develop this sport safely. Sponsoring an IKO course for a Team Jouktai instructor helps them learn, progress, and teach kiteboarding to be internationally recognized for their skills and services, as well as opening up economic opportunities.
As a sponsor, you play a vital role in shaping the journey of a young person from low-income backgrounds in La Guajira, fostering a love for nature, contributing to their holistic development, and promoting physical activity while encouraging teamwork and responsibility. Beyond the excitement of kiteboarding, your support will help this young individual achieve their dreams.
We accept donations of used or new kite equipment. The equipment will be used exclusively for the purpose of learning by the beneficiaries of the program to enhance their skills. Your contribution not only facilitates access to the excitement of kiteboarding but also provides the means for these young people to develop their skills in a safe and structured environment.
We offer the opportunity to sponsor young kiters to cover their registration fees and participation costs in kiteboarding competitions. As kiteboarding and tourism grow along the Colombian coast, we believe it’s important to increase social awareness in the region and make a positive impact on the environment and communities. To fulfill our goals, we hope to expand our team. We are seeking passionate volunteers for youth development and marine and environmental conservation activities.
